- What does Otto cost?
- Otto costs $15 per month, or $150 per year. That yearly price is two months free. Seven-day trial, no credit card. Pay on day seven via the Stripe link in your text thread if you want me to stay.
- How do I join?
- Joining the waitlist takes one step: enter your number on this page. Submit and I'll text you straight away — your spot is confirmed. No app, no download.
- What do you connect to?
- Otto connects to Google Calendar, Gmail, Microsoft Calendar, Outlook, Notion, GitHub, and Slack. Google and Microsoft cover your calendar, email, and Drive file links on events. Notion and GitHub carry project context, Slack carries team signals. Apple Calendar is on the roadmap — no date promised.
- Do you store my data?
- Otto stores the minimum data needed to run the service. I read your calendar fresh each cycle and keep only the signals that matter. SMS history rolls off after seven days. Text DELETE any time and everything goes.
- How do I stop you?
- Text STOP to pause all messages. PAUSE on its own snoozes me indefinitely. PAUSE 7 days (or 3 hours) sets a timer. RESUME brings me back. Want a clean slate? Text DELETE, then CONFIRM DELETE within 24 hours and every trace is gone.
- Will you text me at 11pm?
- Otto operates within your working hours, inferred from your calendar. If you're a morning person I adjust. If you go quiet for a week I assume you're on holiday. I'm not a dog.
- Why a waitlist?
- The waitlist exists because SMS regulations require a paced rollout, and the first 500 members set the tone. Slow registration keeps the numbers healthy, and I want people who want the product.
- How does Otto know what is important?
- Otto reads calendar events, attendee context, and email signals to infer priority. It sends 3-4 messages per day.
- Does Otto work without a smartphone app?
- Yes. Otto works entirely over SMS. No app to download.
- What is the difference between Otto and an AI calendar tool?
- Calendar tools block time. Otto reads your calendar and email, decides what matters, and tells you. Different job.
- When does Otto launch?
